The Tri-Cities Fremont One-Stop Career Center is a self-directed career resource center. The Center provides resources and services that are focused on assisting any member of the community with job search, training information and career assistance. Through the cooperative partnership of many local agencies, the Center offers job seekers the following:- A full range of career related workshops
- Access to current job postings
- Interaction with prospective employers
- A fully equipped resource center
- Reference materials
- Internet Access
- Computers and laser printer
- Fax, copier and telephones
For Employers: Post FREE job orders locally or statewide by registering with the Employement Development Department's CalJOBS. CalJOBS is an Internet accessible computer. Job orders can be placed, modified or closed from your personal computer at any time, day or night and at no cost. From 680, take Mission Blvd. (Highway 238 toward Hayward)*. Turn left on Walnut Street, Turn Right on Liberty Street. Enter the last driveway on the left before the stop sign at Capital Street. Suite B200 is in the building on the right. *NOTE: There are 2 Mission exits. You want to take the northernmost exit. Please check a city map.
From 880: take Mowry Ave. off ramp. Turn East onto Mowry. Turn right on State Street. Enter the first driveway on the left after Capital Street. Suite B200 is in the 2nd building on the left.
Public Transportation: From Fremont Bart Station walk through the stoplight directly across from station. Continue straight through the shopping center until you reach Paseo Padre Parkway. Turn right on Paseo Padre-walk ½ block, turn left on Capital, walk one block to Liberty, cross Liberty. Suite B200 is in the first building on the left.
Public Transportation: From Fremont Bart Station, take Bus #26 or Bus #29 to the corner of Liberty and Capital. |
