The EASTBAY Works One-Stop Career Center in Antioch is your connection to employment and can provide you with the necessary tools to get you to your next job. You can get help with career planning, job training and transition solutions to re-enter the workforce.
Our free services include:
· Academic and career assessment tools
· Job search resources: high speed internet access, fax machines, photocopiers, and more
· Workshops essential for conducting a successful job search
· Listings of current job openings and on-site employer hiring events
· Links to training and educational funding sources
· Referrals to community services and resources
· Trained staff to assist you with your career goals and objectives
Employer Services include:
·Employers can post job openings and access a qualified workforce through customized on-site recruitment events and subsidized on-the-job training opportunities.
·Information is also available on regional and specialized job fairs, the labor market, tax credits and other hiring incentives.
·Businesses that are downsizing or anticipating a closure can receive assistance through the Rapid Response program. The Rapid Response team works with company representatives and employees to develop transition services in advance of a layoff.
· The team can also provide tools and resources to help reduce the number of layoffs, including links to small business assistance and incumbent employee training.
· All services to employers are provided at no cost.
The EASTBAY Works One Stop Centers in Contra Costa County are operated by a consortium of partners represented by education, community organizations and government. |
